Why this matters
In Pakistan, a child rarely leaves school because they want to. They leave because a uniform was torn, a fee notice arrived, a younger sibling fell ill, or a father lost work. The cost of finishing school is often small. The cost of not finishing it follows a family for generations. We try to keep that one door open, quietly, for as long as a child is willing to walk through it.

We don't run our own schools — we keep children in existing ones.
